Outta My Head
This animation loop began as an unstructured doodle on my iPad in Adobe Fresco. It started as a playful exploration and resulted in a departure from my usual chaotic compositions brimming with constant activity. This piece marks a significant shift in my recent animation process, drawing me towards a central focus that became the anchor point for the entire animation.
As I delved deeper, the animation took on a life of its own, revealing qualities reminiscent of the 1970s/1980s animation style. This era's simple yet impactful visuals resonated with me, evoking a sense of nostalgia and channeling the spirit of early MTV bumpers. Those bumpers were a hallmark of the time: fun, experimental, and unapologetically weird.
