ThisIsWex is the moniker of Brooklyn based, motion designer and multimedia artist Beth Wexler. ThisIsWex creates work that exists at the intersection of narrative and editorial design, with a D.I.Y. ethos and systematic experimentation. She works with clients to develop compelling pieces for holistic campaigns. In her personal work she often favors the succinct, repetitive nature of loops, and has developed an ever-evolving body of hypnotic work that ranges from geometric exploration, to cultural observation, to philosophical inquiry. Her primary goal is to create thought-provoking, clever, and sometimes humorous work that guides the viewer towards reflection of the self as well as the conditions of the world around them.
